Ethiopian Anjera!

As food lovers, we always enjoy sharing delights of different cultural cuisines!  Ethiopian anjera is one of our favorites due to the spicy touch in it! Coasterians often cannot do without at least a tiny bit of spice. I suppose this must be as as result of the versatility of culture which influences our cuisine. Nonetheless, back to anjera- this is a delicious patty with beef curry spiced with Ethiopian traditional spices! The mouth always craves for more even when the stomach says enough!

Biryani Treats when Mama's Girl Gets home!

One thing I entirely love is going back home to Mombasa. My mum's only daughter and the one always missed since I am away at USIU, she always treats me with her deliciously made Biryani! I will soon post a recipe of Biryani taught to me by my mother- but I just could not resist sharing an important food moment in my life that I experience every time I go home with much glee!!

Java's Cool Crispy Delight!

Food is our mantra! When it comes to enjoying life, we best do it by trying out every corner of Nairobi's best delicacies!

On Eid this year, we both went to Java at Westgate for a relaxing dessert. The weather that day was crazilly warm and nothing could beet the chilled and cooled iced milk and black coffee, iced latte! Of course there was some sweet treats like the delicious chocolate fudge cake we almost always get when we go to Java, but this was the highlight of the day!!
